Nutty Bars

Ingredients

  1. 120 g of dates

  2. 120 g of mixed nuts (30 g cashew nuts, 30 g walnuts, 30 g almonds & 30 g hazelnuts)

  3. 100 g of oats

  4. 60 g of peanut butter (99,5 % peanuts)

  5. 25 mL of water


Procedure

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. Cut the nuts in medium pieces.

  3. Roast nuts in a pan at high heat.

  4. Blend the dates and water in a blender to form a paste.

  5. Mix the paste together with the nuts, oats and peanut butter.

  6. Shape the mixture into a giant energy bar by pressing it firmly together.

  7. Bake for 12 min at 180°C in the preheated oven.

  8. Let it cool for about 10 min by leaving it on the table.

  9. With the baking paper enveloping the giant bar, place in the freezer for 20 minutes.

  10. Cut the giant bar into smaller bars.
